An Còrr is a charming lochside house which was built in 1845 and has been recently renovated in order to restore some of the original features and character. Your hosts at An Còrr have over 30 years experience of working in the hospitality industry between them and look forward to welcoming you.
Located in the village of Arrochar which sits at the head of Loch Long within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. It is an ideal base to explore all that the National Park has to offer. A welcome stop off point for walkers tackling the increasingly popular Three Lochs Way or for those travelling further north to explore the Western Isles and the Northern Highlands.
Ben Arthur (The Cobbler) is a popular climb and the base of the mountain is easily accessible from An Còrr. Loch Lomond and all that it has to offer is just a 3 minute drive or 30 minute walk.
Whether you come to relax and take in the stunning surroundings, try to catch a glimpse of our native wildlife or choose to keep more active, there is something for everyone nearby.
The Village Inn, our local gastro pub, is a few minutes walk from An Còrr and we would be happy to make you a lunch or dinner reservation if you let us know at the time of booking. It can be very busy during the peak summer season and making a reservation in advance is highly recommended.
Our ensuite rooms are located on the ground floor and enjoy beautiful views across Loch Long to the Arrochar Alps. Each room has a lounge area to the front of the property providing a perfect place to unwind after a day exploring. You may also enjoy breakfast here in privacy if you opt for in room dining.
King sized beds are provided with hypoallergenic duck down duvets, luxury egyptian cotton linen and a choice of three pillows so that you can find one just right for you.
Our rooms have wall mounted 48” Smart Tv’s complete with Netflix, Sky Channels and complimentary WiFi is provided throughout. As well as a kettle for tea making facilities you will find a Nespresso machine for those who love their morning coffee.
Other in room amenities for your convenience during your stay include; White Company towels, complimentary luxury White Company toiletries, iron and board and hair dryer. Charging your devices should never be an issue as there are adequate plug points and convenient bedside USB charging points.
Each of our guests will be offered a two course breakfast accompanied with fresh pastries and a selection of bread.
We pride ourselves on offering you an extensive choice, so whether you are in the mood for something light, hearty or somewhere in between, you will leave energised and ready for the day ahead.
We always use the best locally sourced ingredients including salmon from Loch Fyne, free range eggs and sustainably sourced meat from the award winning Callaghans Butcher in Helensburgh.
We have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available and aim to cater to any dietery requirements.
Breakfast is available between 7.30 and 10 am daily. You are welcome to join us in the dining room, or it can be brought to you to enjoy in the privacy of your room.
For those guests planning a very early rise to make the most of a day on the hills, a continental take away breakfast can be provided or substituted for a packed lunch if you prefer. Packed lunches are also available to all of our guests for an additional charge. Please enquire about availability.
Standard check In is available between 3pm and 8pm daily. Arrivals out with these times are available by prior arrangement only and can’t be guaranteed. Please contact us directly to make arrangements.
We kindly ask that you vacate your room by 11am on the day of departure.
Booking directly on our website always allows us to offer you the best price. A valid debit or credit card is required to secure your booking. Your card will be charged in the 7 days before arrival once your free cancellation period has ended. For bookings made 7 days or less prior to arrival, your card will be charged at the time of booking.
If you would prefer to pay in cash please express this at the time of booking. A holding amount will be held from you card and returned to you upon cash payment.

You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. There is also no charge for booking reductions up to 7 days before arrival.
Cancellations and booking reductions made in the 7 days before arrival are non refundable and we recommend using a reputable travel insurance provider should your plans change last minute.

From Glasgow, Glasgow Airport & The South
Head north on the A82 driving along the side of the beautiful Loch Lomond. When you get to Tarbet, turn left on to the A83. Just before reaching the village of Arrochar take a left turn on the A814 towards Helensburgh. You will be with us in just a minute or so.
From Oban & The West
Head southbound on the A816 until you reach Lochgilphead. From here take the A83 towards Glasgow and enjoy the drive along Loch Fyne, through Inveraray and the dramatic Rest and Be Thankful. When you reach Arrochar, turn right on to the A814 towards Helensburgh. You will be with us shortly.
From Fort William & The North
Head southbound on the A82. Enjoy the speactacilar through Glen Coe before eventually reaching Loch Lomond. When you reach Tarbet, take a sharp right on to the A83 towards Oban. Just before the village of Arrochar, turn left on to the A814 towards Helensburgh. You have nearly reached your destination.
The Village of Arrochar is well connected by public transport.
